Jeanne Hulit has over 30 years of banking experience in addition to her experience leading a Maine-based manufacturer and several years in the public sector at the state and federal level. She had the privilege of serving in leadership roles at the U.S. Small Business Administration, serving New England Regional Administrator and Associate Administrator for the SBA’s Office of Capital Access, prior to being named Acting Administrator by President Obama. Jeanne joined Maine Community Bank in 2018. Within her first 18 months, she orchestrated the successful merger of Biddeford Savings and Mechanics Savings into divisions of Maine Community Bank. Jeanne earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from American University. She is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Maine Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC), the Maine Bankers Association, and The Opportunity Alliance, a non-profit CAP agency.
